Will I need equipment and if so, where can I get it?
Get your equipment from Shake This. If you don't already have equipment and want to purchase top of the line products directly from us, we can sell you whatever you need at unbeatable prices. Blenders, acrylic containers, ice machines, refrigeration equipment, espresso machines, etc. If you already have an equipment source, that's OK too.
What costs should I anticipate when starting my bar?
The costs vary from facility to facility, but if you don't already have a designated nutrition bar area you will need to consider:

Does Shake This help design or build the bar?
We have done several design/builds and have a cabinetry shop that we work hand-in-hand with to ensure a quality fixture. If you want your local contractor to build your fixture we can provide you with basic drawings that include openings, counter heights and equipment placing. If someone else designs your bar, we would like to help with the placement of equipment so you have a very functional system. This is also important for water lines and drains. DO IT ONCE, DO IT RIGHT!
What kind of ongoing support could I expect?
Our step-by-step training video will simplify educating new staff on working the nutrition bar. Simply have them watch the video and spend 30 minutes with someone on shift, and they'll be ready to shake it up. Also, as new recipes and marketing materials are created, they are automatically sent out to all locations.
What do I need to consider when placing a nutrition bar in my facility?
You will need water, power and a drain. Ideally your bar should be located where every member goes past it entering and exiting the club. (incorporated with the front desk is usually the best scenario)
How much space does it take to have a nutrition bar?
The ideal space is about 12' X 15' and in most cases we recommend combining the nutrition bar with your reception desk.
How do we get started and how long does is take to get our bar up and running?
- Review the information in this packet and write down any questions that come to mind. Call us and we will walk you through the process of implementing your nutrition bar and answer any questions you might have.
- After discussing your needs and budget we will send you an agreement and invoice. If you need special financing, we work closely with a company that typically can respond with approvals within a few hours.
- After returning your signed product agreement and payment (or financing approval), we will begin coordinating your installation. We can usually have equipment in your facility in less than two weeks, and we can normally be on site within 2 to 4 weeks. After we leave your facility, you are able to start making money.
